Personally, I think it’s silly to add bed rails to your truck for looks. I added mine to help me with work, and help lash down my load when I go camping.

Bed rails are a great idea if you use your truck a lot for hauling big loads, but sometimes I wonder if they’re adding too much drag to my truck and cutting into my gas mileage? Anybody out there know the answer to this?

Because of my job in the construction biz, I work in some remote areas and I’m usually hauling big loads. I swear by my bed rails.

I like the idea of bed rails just for adding value to the truck for resale. Whenever I sell my old trucks, they’re always heavily customized.
